FIGHT CANCER

Researches show that 30% of Cancer cases can be prevented by modification of life style including diet. Inclusion of certain fruits and vegetables in your daily food could prevent cancer incidence. Lets see some of those:

1. Apple: There is a proverb “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. It is true that eating an apple can reduce the risk of cancer. This is due to the antioxidant property of betacarotene which is a precursor of VitaminA. Apple is a rich source of Betacarotene.

2. Tomato: Tomato contains Lycopene(L) which act as an antioxidant and free radical scavenger ultimately prevents the risk of Cancer

3. Diary products: This is a rich source of Conjugated Linoleic Acids (CLA) which is found to be an anticancer agent, inhibiting initiation, promotion, progression and metastasis.

4. Peanuts: Resveratrol which is found in peanuts inhibits COX-1 and there by acts as anti-tumor agent.

5. Grape skins( RedWine) Resveratrol which is found in grape skins also help to inhibit COX-1 and there by acts as anti-tumor agent.
