FIGHT CONSTIPATION

Constipation is a major problem faced by most of the people in the world.Despite the age, this silent devil troubles all.
Here are some tips to avoid constipation.
Say good bye to Drugs......

Remember that food from animal sources have very less fibre. Try to avoid this in your menu.

Remember that refined foods like maida, pasta, white bread and cakes have less fibre.Try to avoid this in your menu.

Drink 7 or 8 glasses of water per day. It is very important that you should drink more water while taking fiber rich food.

Take a short walk everyday after dinner.

Schedule your toilet time, go to toilet at the same time daily.

Excercise will help to reduce constipation after child birth

Fibre rich vegetables include turnip, lady's finger, radish, beans, cabbage, cucumber, potato, corn, broccoli, peas, carrot, tomato, green pepper, bitter gourd, asparagus, brinjal, beetroot, sprouts, leafy greens, cauliflower, and onion. Include these more in your menu.

Fibre rich cereals include wheat, oats, maize, barley, jowar, bajra,and rice. Include these more in your food.

Fibre rich legumes include kidney beans, chestnuts, black beans, all pulses, black-eyed peas, split peas, peanuts, almonds, sunflower seed, sesame seed, chestnuts, and coconut are rich in fibre.Dont foregt to add some of these in your daily food.

Fibre rich fruits include papaya, peach, kiwi fruit, avocado, guava, apricot, date, gooseberry, fig, mango, orange, pear, bel, apple, jamun, pomegranate and grapes. Let your evenings nourish with these fruits.

Constipation refers to infrequent or hard stools, or difficulty passing stools. Constipation is determined in the colon (large intestine), which is responsible for packaging and eliminating stool.

Good Informative Post! Constipation is one of the most common digestive problems that people face in todays world. It is irregular and infrequent or difficult evacuation of the bowels.

It is a result of faulty lifestyle and irregular eating habits. Not including enough leafy and green vegetables,salads etc in the diet, Not having enough roughage or high fiber food in diet, Insufficient intake of water & Excessive intake of animal protein which are difficult to digest.
