KESARI-SWEET-SNACKS

Ingredients: • RAVA----1 Cup • SUGAR---1 Cup • PISTAS---5 Piece • ALMOND--5 Piece • CARDAMOM SLICED---1/4 tsp • RAISINS----10 Raisins • SAFFRON( soaked in half glass warm milk)--2 Pinches • GHEE--3 table spoon • YELLOW COLOUR--as required for colour • WATER--2 Cups

Steps for Preparation:

•Brown Pistas almonds at first and keep it seperately.

•Heat Ghee in a large heavy pan

•Add rava and roast over low heat for about 7 to 8 minutes until aroma exudes, keep stirring.

•At the same time, put water on medium-high heat, add sugar and make a boil.

•Add this water to the rava, little at a time, mix well.

•Combine more boiling water with it if grain is hard.

•Add the remaining ingredients( Dont add colour now and keep some almonds and pistas for garnishing.

•Cover and simmer until ghee separates.

  • Combine little colour with it, mix well.
  • Decorate it with Brown almonds and pistas.
